Hold the Front Page!!

I have just been contacted via email by the Press Complaints Commssion (DON) and I need to make some corrections to my last post…

Few mistakes:

Will is Vilinta Kuras, not Karas, which would translate into War! 🙂
Bart wasn’t using tenschock boat, it was his old Speedman! Now my information about the boat Bart was using came this week from Rafael of Tenshock – well Don was there so I am going with Don on this one.
And Michael Dahm, he had a lucky group with only three boats finishing all the time! and Don had a full heat of 6 boats, but Don is determined to catch him.

Well that puts the world to rights… goodnight

MOERS 2013 – Ospreys Club Members Results

Well this year only  a couple of “Ospreys fled the coop” and headed for Germany and that was Donatas Ceponis (Don) who competed in Eco Expert and came a very credible second behind Michael Dahm (of Germany).  When we say this was Michael’s home lake – we mean home lake, his back garden steps lead onto the lake at Moers…so I guess he had home advantage for testing.

Don also competed in Mono 2 and finished 5th, 4th was Randolf Schmid for those who do not know he is MR RASCH who is the boatbuilder as per the boats that Mark Shipman, Lee and Paul use in mono 2.  The class winner was Bart Van Geyt (European Champ) using the new Tenshock boat.

Along with Don on the trip was another of the Lithuanian racers – young Will (Karas Vilintas) who won the junior competition (second year running)and came 4th in the seniors as well!!

So well done to our International racers

Results and round up of 5th May 2013 at Althorne

Once  again we were very lucky with the weather.  Lovely sunshine and hardly any cloud all day, so hats and T- shirts all around.   We had an international meeting with some of the best racers from Lithuania racing with us.
