Moers Germany 2015 – Ospreys roundup

As usual the weather could not make up it’s mind.  On day 1 Walter Geens had sunstroke!!  but by Saturday we needed umbrellas…and Sunday turned nice again

From the UK we had the following Ospreys racing:

Donatas Ceponis

Lee Heath & Paul Heath

Also from the NADS club was George McDonald and Paul Heaton

As far as results went, Don was so close (1 second) from winning Eco Expert.  It really does not get much closer over 4 heats (best 2 to score)  So Don took second place trophy, well done Don !!

Lee did well with a credible 3rd place trophy in Hydro 2 with the new RASCH boat behind Bart Van Geyt who was 3rd in the last Worlds last time

We had mixed fortunes in Mono 2, Lee needed the diver to retrieve his boat, unfortunately the diver had been drinking…  so it was 24 hours later before it was found.

The Belgium’s continue to dominate the mono classes

There were the new ETTI Vertigo and Tenshock Tomahawks present but all the hulls had been “worked” on to try and get them to work.  So I guess watch this space.

Randolf Schmit (Mr RASCH) had his new longer mono 2 essenz on the water for the 1st time which got better as the weekend progressed, in 1 heat he racked up 30 laps, so more to come from him…
